Sometimes it's the ground from the cdi corroded and not making good contact so that you get intermittent shut offs. The new key ignition is part number 4012164 and $67. New battery, charged, enough power to turn over engine but wont go. If it is, and it doesn't turn over, the starter is probably toast.
